Ken’s story: “It’s everything I was looking for.”

“HBH is great value for money,” says new resident Ken, who moved into one of our independent apartments at 139 on Union in January. “I’ve got the Howick club around the corner, the bowling club up the road, I can swim at the Howick Leisure centre and there’s even a corner shop up the road. It’s everything I was looking for in a retirement village,” he says.
“I love being so central – everything is accessible, my apartment is comfortable and there’s happy hour every Wednesday,” Ken explains. “HBH has definitely lived up to my expectations and while I didn’t want to move into one of the bigger, more impersonal villages, HBH Senior Living is larger and offers far more than I had expected.”
