COVID 19 Update: 6 October
To our Families and Whānau
Thank you for continuing to support us and your loved one as we navigate this changing COVID world.
Further to our communication with you on Monday evening following the staged easing of alert Level 3 restrictions, we have since received notification from MOH and the New Zealand Aged Care Association.
At this stage they have advised that current visitor access remains the same as level 3 and 4, i.e. no visitors allowed unless on compassionate grounds ( for end stage palliative care). Our teams will continue to stay in their community bubbles/ facilities and follow all MOH advice round precautions to keep everyone safe including social distancing, hand hygiene, wearing masks, temperatures, gloves and extra cleaning.
We recognise that this prolonged lockdown can be distressing to our families and friends in different ways. We hope you can gain some comfort from knowing that as a team we are all extremely focused on delivering the very best and personalised care to your loved ones when you cannot be with them.
Thank you again for your support. We will be back in touch as soon as we are advised of any changes.
Kind regards, Bonnie Robinson, CEO, HBH Senior Living
