HBH Howick Views and HBH Gulf Views are open for visiting

We trust this brief update finds everyone across our HBH family safe and well, especially after last nights’ extreme weather event and subsequent state of emergency across the greater Auckland area. We appreciate there are many people who have been impacted by this unprecedented weather. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this time.

To reassure you, please know that all our residents are safe and continue to be well cared for by our wonderful team of dedicated staff.  There is no impact to our services at this time.

Most of our facilities and buildings have faired well with minor damage. There may be further assessments required in the coming days . We do have some flooding at Gracedale and isolated water damage at HBH Howick Views. These incidents are being managing accordingly.

Heartfelt thanks to everyone including staff, family members, board and volunteers for your efforts and support to ensure our residents remain safe and that their daily routines are maintained with minimal disruption.

If you are unable  to visit your family member or friend due to travel restrictions on the roads, please be in contact with the RN on the relevant community, for assistance in communicating with your loved one.

We will continue to update you if there are any further changes.
