HBH Howick Views offers a room in the Berwick Community that can accommodate older individuals in need of short-term stays at either Rest Home or Hospital level of care.
Respite care is a valuable service that supports older individuals living with disabilities and their full-time caregivers. By providing regular breaks for the caregiver, respite care can help prolong the older person’s ability to continue living in their own home.
HBH Howick Views treats respite residents as a part of its community during their stay and provide all standard aspects of care including:
We offer chaplaincy and weekly church services, weekly Happy Hour, library trolley and hairdresser, as well as a range of daily activities, regular social functions and celebrations. For those with green fingers, gardening opportunities are available and animal lovers can enjoy our resident pets.
